Notes
The 2016 Vieux Château Mazerat is rich and super-concentrated in the glass. Black cherry, chocolate, dark spice and leather lavish this bold Saint-Émilion with tremendous depth and textural resonance. Like all of Jonathan Malthus’ wines, Vieux Château Mazerat is quite flamboyant, all qualities that are especially amped up here, in one of the more overt wines in the range.
