Notes
The 2014 Les Champs Libre Blanc has an attractive bouquet with lemon sherbet, orange blossom and grapefruit scents all very well defined. The palate is well balanced with neatly integrated new oak lending a creamy sheen, moderate acidity, gaining depth towards the light honeyed, stem ginger tinged finish. Very fine (and the winner of the flight, beating many Pessac-LĂ©ognan Blancs.) Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting.
