Farconnet is a blend of purchased fruit from various plots on the hill including Diognieres, Greffieux and Peleat as well as some declassified domaine fruit. A Hermitage that may be on the earlier drinking side but does not lack for character. Built on freshness, this offers fresh dark berry, sap and cracked pepper character, a hint of warming liquorice spice and finishing on lifting notes of cherry and herb. De-stemmed and aged in used oak barriques for up to 18 months.
