Tasting Notes
Professor Denis Dubourdieu’s home estate has got to be one of our favourite value picks in all of Bordeaux. A humble Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux, this wine shows a class and refinement well above its lowly appellation. Dark berries sweet earth, flowers and cedar on the nose give way to unctuous sweet berry fruit on the palate. The palate is silky smooth but with plenty of bright acidity and tannic spine to provide lift and grip. This really is a tremendously good little wine that, while drinking now, is only set to get better. A value cellar treasure if ever we saw one.
