Notes
Ruby-red. Reticent aromas of raspberry, roasted coffee, underbrush, animal fur and charred oak. Silky but firm, with lovely ripe acidity and considerable thrust for the year. Finishes with very good length, but in comparison to the 2000 and 2001 the tannins here are a bit more spiky.
