Tasting Notes
Clerc Milon has a wonderful terroir and we are delighted to report that the Mouton team are pressing all the right buttons. We were deeply impressed with the 2008, but 2009 is a noticeable improvement. Really floral with notes of crushed rocks, violets, ripe plums and tobacco. The attack is packed with intense blackcurrants and lush, suave fruit. The 2009 Clerc is tightly knit, composed and very classy. An utterly seductive Pauillac, which is graceful, powerful, impeccably balanced and possesses real energy and verve.
