Notes
Floral red fruit and roses, bright and uplifting characteristics that are echoed on the palate. Gripping, long, and whilst there is clear structure here the tannins are creamy and beautifully integrated, vivacious fruit flavours of strawberry, cherry and cranberry. The Giachini is a fine parcel of La Morra vines situated in the lower part of the Rocche dell’Annunziata vineyard, and is aged in 50% new oak.

Notes
Good bright, deep red with ruby highlights. Lively aromas of black cherry, menthol, minerals and violet. Sweet, supple and seamless, with lovely inner-mouth freshness and lift for the vintage. Juicy blackberry, redcurrant and mineral flavors carry through to the lively, very persistent finish. I prefer the balance here to that of the 2008. When brothers Renato and Giuliano divided up the Corino estate in 2006, Giuliano retained the Giachini holding.
