This comes from the Mosconi Cru, a vineyard slope neighbouring the Ginestra with the same south east exposure. The powerful nature of the Mosconi wines sees them spend up to two years in French oak barriques. An expansive, mouth-filling wine, offering generous berry and black cherry fruit, with notes of fresh ground coffee. Its richness and warmth are offset beautifully by invigorating, cool mineral characteristics on the finish.
