Notes
Romina’s vineyard, tucked up behind the family home, below vigna Terlo & across the road from Le Coste (di Barolo). A mix of crystal clear red fruits and roses together with earthier spice notes with a strong sapidity following a wave of fruit. 13.67%

Notes
The 2016 Barolo del Comune di Barolo is an attractive, understated wine. Time in the glass brings out lovely inner sweetness and perfume. This is an especially ethereal style. Sweet dried cherry, crushed flowers, cedar and spice are nicely lifted. I would prefer to drink the 2016 over the next 10-15 years, as it does not appear to have the stuffing of the other wines in the range. The Comune bottling emerges from a parcel in the Terlo cru.
