Notes
This really hits the high notes, stunningly attractive and sophisticated, complex powerful and precise but not over the top, this is measured to perfection. Aromas of dried rose petal introduce a palate bursting with intense, ripe cherry and autumn fruit, dancing mineral elements, bitter sweet dark chocolate suggestions and touches of spice. A Benchmark La Morra Barolo. Aged in 30 percent new oak.

Notes
The 2004 Barolo Brunate is approaching an early plateau of maturity. Deep and pliant on the palate, the 2004 possesses striking depth, fabulous balance and sense of resonance that is hugely appealing. Dried rose petal, sage, mint and crushed raspberries meld into the soft, succulent finish. This is a lovely showing.
