Tasting Notes
A Barbaresco vineyard from the Treiso commune that sits 290 metres above sea level. The south south-west aspect ensures great sun exposure whilst the clay soils with high limestone content give balanced, well-defined and structured wines. Gripping but fine-grained in structure, salt-fleched red berry fruit with sweeter nose of squashed strawberry. Lush, mouth-watering fruit. Aged for 18 months in large old wooden cask.
