Tasting Notes
A burst of heady summer fruits hits you on the nose. The palate is equally fruity. A exploding grenade of juicy sweet red berries, wild strawberry and raspberry mainly, encompasses the palate. A tannic grip adds some crunch and structure to the hedonistic fruit. A south west facing vineyard of 280 metres planted on sandy white limestone soils, originally planted by Pierguido’s grandfather in 1948. Ageing is in 25 hl casks for 26 months.
