Notes
A Nebbiolo from the Barolo Arborina vineyard aged for a year in oak as opposed to two years required for Barolo, aged in 100% new oak. Dense but round, certainly not a heavy wine, lovely ripe mulberry, blackthorn, sloe, cassis and strawberry fruit, highly aromatic too, a very seductive wine and juicy with it, this really sums up the corpulence and generosity of the sensual 2007 vintage.

Notes
The 2007 Langhe Arborina (Nebbiolo) is soft, silky and perfumed in its red cherries, menthol, flowers and licorice. This sumptuous, impeccably balanced wine boasts incredible inner sweetness and tons of elegance, reminding me at times of a great Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco. Altare’s 2007 Langhe Arborina is a stunning, drop-dead gorgeous wine.
